Indicator 1.3.1

At-risk-of poverty rate in Treptow-Köpenick

The indicator shows the poverty risk rate.
The poverty risk rate is an indicator measuring relative income poverty and is defined as the share of persons whose equivalized income is less than 60% of the median equivalized income of the total population. Equivalized income is a need-weighted per capita income per household member calculated on the basis of a household’s net income. This means that, for example, a person in a one-person household needs more income than someone in a two-person household.
